Terms of Service
These are the terms under which I provide resume rewrite, cover letter, and LinkedIn About section services. By submitting an intake form or paying an invoice, you agree to these terms.
1. Services and Pricing
Standard packages:
- Resume rewrite: $89
- Cover letter (add-on or standalone): $39
- LinkedIn About section (add-on or standalone): $39
- Resume + Cover Letter bundle: $119
- Full bundle (Resume + Cover Letter + LinkedIn About): $149
- 12-hour rush turnaround: +$29 to any package
2. Turnaround
Standard turnaround is 24 hours from the time you submit a completed intake form. Rush turnaround is 12 hours. Turnaround windows begin when the intake form is received in full — incomplete intakes pause the clock until missing information is provided.
3. Revisions
One revision round is included with every package. Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of receiving the watermarked draft. Additional revisions beyond the first round are $29 each. Revisions are limited to refinement of the existing deliverable — significant changes in scope (such as a new target role, new industry positioning, or material additions to the source material) are treated as new orders.
4. Payment
Payment method: Stripe invoice (credit or debit card).
During the introductory period (first 5–10 clients), payment is collected after delivery of the watermarked draft. Clean, unwatermarked files are delivered only after payment is received. After the introductory period, terms shift to 50% upfront and 50% on delivery.
5. Refund Policy
Full refund
- If you are unsatisfied with the watermarked draft and clean files have not yet been delivered. The watermarked draft remains my property and may not be used.
Partial refund (50%)
- In rare cases where significant rework is needed beyond the included revision and a satisfactory result cannot be reached, offered as goodwill at my discretion.
No refund
- After clean (unwatermarked) files have been delivered.
- Based on outcomes (e.g., not receiving interview callbacks or job offers). My service is the deliverable itself, not the hiring outcome.
6. Intellectual Property
Upon receipt of full payment, all rights to the final deliverables transfer to you, the client. You are free to use, edit, distribute, and republish the work as you see fit. Watermarked drafts remain my property until payment is received and may not be used in their watermarked form.
I reserve the right to use anonymized versions of completed work as portfolio samples — never with your real name, employers, or identifying details — unless you specifically request that your work not be referenced at all.
7. Confidentiality
All information you share — including your current resume, employment history, salary information, target roles, and any sensitive context — is held in confidence. I do not share, sell, or disclose your information to any third party. Files are retained for 90 days for the purposes of revision requests and recordkeeping, after which they may be permanently deleted upon request.
8. Limitations and Disclaimer
I provide professional writing and formatting services. I am not an employment agency, recruiter, career counselor, or legal advisor. While my deliverables are designed to improve your candidacy, I do not guarantee any specific hiring outcome, interview callback, salary level, or job placement. Hiring decisions depend on many factors outside the scope of any resume service.
All factual claims in the deliverables — including job titles, dates, accomplishments, certifications, and credentials — are based on information you provide. I do not independently verify these claims. You are responsible for the accuracy of all factual content in your final deliverable.
9. AI-Assisted Workflow
My workflow uses AI tools to accelerate first-draft generation, after which every deliverable is reviewed, refined, and quality-controlled by me before delivery. Every deliverable is a human-finished product. If you have specific preferences regarding AI usage, please mention them in your intake form.
10. Communication and Response Times
I respond to client communications within 24 hours during business days. Active orders receive priority response. Communications received on weekends or holidays may be addressed the next business day, though I make every effort to respond promptly when an active project is underway.
11. Cancellation
You may cancel an order at any time before the watermarked draft is delivered, with full refund of any payment made. Once the watermarked draft has been delivered, the refund policy in Section 5 applies.
12. Updates to These Terms
These terms apply to orders placed under the version in effect at the time of order confirmation. I may update these terms at any time. Existing orders are governed by the terms in effect when the order was confirmed.
Order Confirmation
Confirmation that you have read and agreed to these terms is established by either of the following:
- Submission of a completed intake form for any package
- Payment of any invoice for services rendered
